Oslo — Downtown

A walk a few blocks inland to the Oslo Cathedral, past arcades behind the cathedral where artisans sell their crafts — continuing a tradition from the Middle Ages. Stortorvet Square often hosts a flower market, and across the street stands Glas Magasinet, Oslo's largest department store. Torggata runs three blocks north into another fine shopping area.
